Description

Hi folks. I'm selling my 1971 4 door Thunderbird. As you can see by the pictures this bird has a very nice appearance to it. It's medium blue outside with a black vinyl top. The interior is a very dark blue cloth. All these birds came with the 429 thunderjet motor. This one has a pretty solid body. All windows are there with no cracks. Headlites and tail lites all work. The paint looks great from a distance but up close you can see some imperfecrrtions. The top is faded. All things considered this bird looks quite nice cruising down the street. But that being said this car needs a good mechanic to get it running good. I do believe it needs a lifter repair. The gas guage and windows don't work. The previouse owner whom I bought the car from took the door panel off as seen in pictures but was not able to get them working. So buyer beware this nice looking bird does need some work. The exhaust was installed new three years ago just when I had bought it. This car shows about 87 000 miles and could very well be original. I have shop manuals too. What makes this bird special is the price. I'll sell it for a good offer around 2000 bucks. Please scan E-bay or Craig's list and try and find a better looking car of any age for that price. I'm only selling this bird because I have no honest mechanic who can help me get this one going for a respectable cost. Please ask any questions about my T-bird and hopefully the pictures are good enough to give you an idea what this car looks like. Thankyou for looking and have a great day. PaulPS. Whether you pay 2000 bucks for an old classic or pay 20000 for one that was redone you'll still have to stick more money into them. Thats what makes this one a good bagain it's cheap. Thanks again.
