The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this lovely 1960 ALFA ROMEO GIULIETTA 1300 SPIDER. The car is very correct and original, nd is currently registered in CT. The car was originally sold to NSU in Werk, ermany on December 2, 959. the car is in excellent mechanical condition, nd is in excellent “driver quality” condition. She would make an excellent candidate for a full restoration or, he could just be maintained and driven just as she is. The body is very straight, nd the red paint looks good. All of the exterior trim and bright-work is original and in nice condition. If the car has a weak point, t would be in the RED paint; though shiny and nice, here is checking on almost every panel. The interior has an excellent patina, ith her correct original black sport seats, nd red carpets in a condition befitting her age. The engine is the venerable 1290cc 4-cylinder Alfa motor, uilt to correct original specification. She still retains her original single Solex Carburettor setup. The engine is very well sorted, nd puts out good power and torque. The underside is excellent, s new floors were just installed. The exhaust system is in excellent condition The car has her correct 4-wheel finned Aluminum drum brakes, he linings are new, s are the hydraulics; the car stops with authority. The 5-speed transmission shifts well, he clutch is new. Her steel wheels are shod with new Khumo radial tires. The car is mechanically excellent and is a blast to drive!!! She corners well, rakes as she should and the suspension and steering offers great feedback and control. The epitome of late 50’s sports car experience.
