Description

For sale is this 1966 Rambler Rogue 2 door hardtop. Very rare car as only 500 were made. This is the first year of a 4 year run of Rogue's. If you are looking to restore/rebuild one of these cars, this is the one for you. Very, very complete-only missing the drivers side front fender emblem-rest of the trim is complete. It is a running, driveable car. The engine is tired though. Included in this sale is:
Edelbrock R4B intake manifold with the group 19 parts numberLike new Edelbrock 4 barrel carbNew camshaft-slightly more performance than the stock camNew hydraulic liftersNew Pertronix points replacement kitNew Pertronix coilNOS windshieldNew windshield seal
Engine/tranny:Tranny works great-does leak someEngine has lifter tick and cannot be adjusted any more (hence the new cam kit)Small fuel pump leakI believe it has a loose torque converter or cracked flex plate - makes a noise in that areaRuns smooth-carb has been rebuilt not long agoHas dual exhaust with soft rumble
Interior:New carpet installed by previous ownerHead liner in poor shapeDash pad in good conditionSeats need to be reupholstered
Body:10 Footer as paint goes2 small areas of primerAverage paint chips-this car is a driver, not trailer queenI ran a magnet over the car and it stuck everywhere-I than ran a fridge magnet over the car and below the doors and behind the rear tires it did not want to stay-a fridge magnet has very little magnetism but all this tells me there is thin amounts of bondo in the car-normal for its ageOn the black portion of the car there are a couple of rust bubbles-nothing severe or through the metalFloors and subframes are solidThe paint could use a buffing- it has some fadingRear bumper OK-front bumper tired
Misc.Newer trunk carpetRedline radial tiresHeadlights, brake lights, tail lights, turn signals, horn, radio all workGas gauge and heater controls do not work
