1986 AMC Eagle 4x4 with 81,500 original miles. The car was recently painted. The tires are brand new. The car is a driver. Last summer the car was driven from Idaho to North Dakota without any issues. I replaced the factory carburetor with the Motorcraft 2100. The original carburetor is known for poor gas mileage and lack of power. The new carburetor has been professionally tuned . Other AMC owners have noted over 20MPG with this carburetor. Spark plugs and wires as well as solenoid have been replaced. The car needs nothing. I did not pay to have the paint color sanded and buffed out after it was painted because it looked fine to me. There are a few minor runs in the paint if you look close. They didn't bother me as I intended to use the car for a family car and I knew it would likely get scratched at some point. The hub caps don't quite fit right. I bought these thinking they were for the Eagle and they must have been for a cherokee. I'm selling the car to go toward finishing our house. You're welcome to come and see it in person and or test drive it before bidding. If the bid does not get high enough after 6 days I will pull it off. Feel free to make an offer in the mean time. Shes a real peach and will make someone a great car. It's crazy how many people want to stop and tell me about there AMC when I get the car out and drive it. On Sep-04-16 at 15:55:23 PDT, seller added the following information:I saved the old carb, air cleaner as well as the vacuum lines that were removed. The factory carbs were none for being very problematic and this is why the Motorcraft 2100 was installed. It was an expensive conversion. Regardless, I have everything that was removed if the buyer wants it.
