youtube link – youtube.com/watch?v=CVOexdJRL3E It was an original Michigan car the owner retired to Florida that’s how it ended up there. As far as I know the car was all original when buyer #2 bought it. I assume he didn’t buy anything else for lack of funs. He did replace the gas tank which is not oem. Based on this clip and his feedback I sent him a deposit and flew down to seal the deal. The car was not as represented at all but this was my dream car so I bought it anyway. The car ran but barely. The distributor was loose and had to be screwed with to keep it running so ‘driving’ it was problematic. This guy had no money so had done a real half ass restore which he couldn’t even finish. For that reason I am not going to make any comments on the extent of the rust as I honestly have no idea. It was restored enough to hide it I’ve advertised it as a complete restoration project you do the math and assume worst case scenario. It was a Michigan car. He removed all the window glass never put the door glass back in. Removed the bucket seats replaced w/some after market stuff. Since I viewed it as a major project I saw no need for it to take up space in my full garage. It sat outside for 2 years on a trailer with a tarp over it. The tarp got hot and when we removed it part of the paint came off with it. It needed a new paint job anyway. Also the parts that were removed since the youtube video (taillights bezels) were shot I removed them. I still have them they are worthless. So before I really got a chance to do anything with this BBO I found another in good driver condition. That’s why I’m selling this one. Selling not giving away. If I don’t get my price I’ll just keep it I have a bigger garage now. It will become a retirement project.
