I am selling my 1966 Rambler American 440 Coupe. I purchased the body from an old junk yard and have completely restored it to running condition. I am heading off to Pharmacy school and must part with my beautiful car. This style of the AMC Rambler is quite hard to come by after the "Cash for Clunkers" program... All of the mechanical work has been completed, ll that is left is the esthetic aspect of the car.
Under the hood:
First generation 1970s Chevy 350 (350hp stock) from a 1970 Corvette - fully rebuilt
Completely new fuel system front to back
10 Gallon fuel cell
8-AN Fuel lines front to back with dual fuel filtration, uel regulator and return fuel line
New fuel pump and push rod
New Holley 4160 Four barrel carburetor with adjustable float 0-80450 600 cfm electric choke etc.
New dress ups for the engine (14" Holley Air filter and housing, alve covers, lternator bracket, ual throttle return springs, hrome splitters for spark plug wires)
New Holley Street Dominatior Intake Manifold
New Street Fire Chevy V8 HEI Distributor with adjusted timing
New Spark Plugs
New Battery
New Belts
Rebuilt Alternator
Semiautomatic transmision (D1 and D2)
Dual Headers
Dash says 66,000ish miles on the body - the Corvette had roughly the same on the block
Other Work Completed:
Chevy positive rear
I just put a few floor pans in this car, have a welder if you'd like and some scrap metal to finish off the patches.
Large tires and American Racing Rims
Rear leaf springs
Work Needed:
Air in front right tire, arpeting, pholstery, hrottle pedal (right now it's just a nub), irewall between the fuel cell and the back seat region of the car. I have clamps/brackets for the fuel lines that need to be secured under the body. Single screw for the oil pressure, temperature, nd amps gauge unit.
Recommended:
Once this work is complete, egister the car in the state of Maine via pictures and mail, ring to DMV for proof of ownership, btain title in your name (I have more information if you're unaware of this process).

I am asking for $7,950 or best offer.
Please feel free to contact me. If I forgot anything, should be able to give more information.
