YOU ARE VIEWING WHAT IS, WITHOUT ANY DOUBT, THE FINEST LAGONDA ON THE MARKET.
IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A LAGONDA, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE ONE. You are not likely to see one in this condition ever again.
This is a brand new Ebay account I opened just to sell my Lagonda, so please understand the lack of feedback.
I am fully accessible, and happy to discuss the car either on the phone or in person.
I have owned more than one Lagonda and am regarded as an expert on the cars and their history. Each of my Lagondas was painstakingly brought to world class condition through massive amounts of work and expense. This car is BETTER than new, as new Lagondas had trouble with their dashboards from day one. This has NO issues whatsoever... keep reading
The car isready to show and open to inspections.
Shockand awe....This Lagonda S2 is undoubtedly the most important model in Aston Martin's history. It is the car which single-handedly saved Aston Martin from extinction thanks to the massive deposits it secured from an awe-stricken audience. It is a jaw dropping masterpiece, which has always gottenfar more attention from admirers than any of myLamborghinis. No car got nearly as much attention and interest from the public at any auto show in 1976 as the Lagonda, upon its introduction. To this day, over 40 years later, people on the street stop dead in their tracks, stunned by what theyre seeing.
Ive owned every post war generationof Aston Martin. None of them offer as fulfilling an experience as the Lagonda. There was very good reason it was the worlds most expensivecar when new.
I have owned it since 2012. It is one of maybe 5 in the world with a completely ORIGINAL and completely WORKING CRT dashboard, INCLUDING the voice feature, which speaks with a British accent. The dash alone cost over $7000 to perfect and was done in the UK by the premier expert on these dashboards The entire dash was removed and shipped overnight to the UK. Aston Martin themselves utilize the same expert when a Lagonda dash is in need of fixing.
This car has been worked on by the foremost expert in the NY/NJ area from day one
Every single function works flawlessly and the engine/transmission run perfectly. Every switch, light, function etc, WORKS. That is completely unheard of with these cars.
The rear was dropped, rebuilt and seal coated.
A/c is ice cold, with new fittings for a completely leak free system
The entire electrical system was redone with silver tips, so no corrosion is possible. Electrical corrosion in Lagondas is guaranteed otherwise, and will eventually cause the car to be completely inoperable.
Original tool case, warning triangle, owners manual, and brand new, gorgeousdeep pile rug overlays (seen in pictures), made by the same company that supplied them in 1985 to Aston Martin. The vast majority of Lagondas are missing at least one of these items
Includes original factory build sheet
Never hit, no dents, no bodywork, no filler anywhere. Original 1985 paint with a perfect and expected patina. Excellent, rich, glossy finish for lacquer paint of that period
ZERO structural rust including the sills.
If you're seriously looking for a Lagonda, you've found it. I would gladly bet money you will never see one like this again
Only 125 of the 645 Lagondas built had the CRT dash, which was by far the most advanced of the three dash versions
Of those 125, there are likely only about 100 left, with maybe 20-25 of those in the US. Ive seen most of them and they are a mess of problems, both mechanically/electrically, and cosmetically
Just finding one with ALL of its original components has become nearly impossible. Whether it be some horrendous converted dashboard or an engine conversion, finding one like this simply will not happen.
This is THE ONE.

Please note that as of today, January 18, 2017, Hagerty Insurance, which is the only accurate source of older exotic car values, has this Lagonda valued at over $100k
