Only 724 miles since completion! Power steering, rakes, eat and windows! AC! Chrome wire wheels! Ready for immediate enjoyment!!!
The Auburn Boattail Speedster is considered one of the most striking cars to ever hit the open road! As Auburn dedicated itself to art-deco design styles, t employed some of the best designers of the era. With the model 851 and 852 Speedster credits going to designer Gordon Buehrig, ery few were ever made before Auburn had to close its doors forever. Because of this, hey became highly sought after for highline collectors and reproduced heavily by a great number of replica car manufactures for enthusiasts. One of the original manufactures was Antique Autos of America based out of Largo, L. As a prominent classic car restoration facility already, t began to produce some of the most highly acknowledged Auburn and Cord replicas ever manufactured professionally! It was largely under the supervision of project manager, ichael Atkins, ho now owns and operates Speedster Motorcars in their new facility in Glenville, C!
Speedster Motorcars produced this very striking 1936 Auburn Boattail 852 Speedster in 2004. Finished in a sporting shade of Canary Yellow over Tan Leather upholstery and Tan canvas top, his example is powered by a Vortec 5300 V8, L60E 4-speed automatic transmission and 9” rear end! Complete with a host of factory equipment that includes 16” wire spoke wheels wrapped in Grand Am whitewall tires, oil-over suspension, achine-turned aluminum dash, ir conditioning, ensen CD3720 XM radio with Pioneer speakers, ower steering, ower disc brakes, ower seat, ower windows, ilt steering column, okar shift knob, ndependent front suspension with tubular upper/lower control arms, tainless brake lines, ransmission oil cooler, ir horns, tewart-Warner gauges, owl lights with side mirrors, ront fog lights, imulated engine exhaust ducting, ood ornament & badging, illet pedals and vents, eatbelts and rear exhaust turndowns! Safety items include emergency handbrake and turn signals.
The car survives today having been driven only 724 miles since completion! Fitted with a full convertible top and canvas tonneau cover, his Speedster would be just as much at home driving across the country as it would be parked at a show. The car is titled as a 2004 Auburn Speedster and should therefore have no issues at the DMV. The build quality of this car is still apparent today; all interior touch points and well as all exterior cosmetics are in fantastic condition with only the smallest signs of use. The car is sure to turn heads anywhere it goes and should make for many years of reliable transportation! For any additional questions, lease feel free to give us a ring! Thanks for looking!
