This 1967 Austin Mini Convertible is in very good condition and starts on the first crank. It runs perfectly and has no mechanical issues: a truly good looking and presentable drivers car.
Nicknamed the “Austi”, this convertible conversion was done by a U.K. company called Kent, which specialized in converting Minis to convertibles as they rolled out of the factory. The 998cc 4-cylinder motor connects to a 4-speed manual and makes for a very fun drive.
This car comes with Mini Light 10” rims, a Momo steering wheel and a custom fit car cover. The top is in very good condition and really gives the car a slick look.
Water pump and fan belt were recently done. All gauges work and read correctly, suspension is in good condition, tires and brakes look good. The ONLY thing that doesn’t work that I know of is the odometer: its read 94600 for quite some time now. Other than that there is a little bit of rust on the drivers side rocker arm (pictured) and the dashboard is peeling in some spots (also pictured).
This Mini has only been driven in the summer, garaged in the winter. This is the first time that top has seen daylight in 5 years! I have a clean title as well as piles of paperwork that go along with this car.
This turn key car is so much fun to drive and is a great investment! Drive it home today.
