The car is in great shape with all the power options, xterior is a charcoal black with the M spoiler on the back. The car is sitting on Italian-made Racing Dynamic rims with brand new wide Nexen N3000 rubber on the front and back. The car really turns heads because of the overall condition. Very comfortable and fun to drive. This car has never been driven in winter or seen snow and ice. As you can see from that one picture it is sitting in the snow however, hat was done to get brighter pictures of the interior with natural light. It was put back into the garage shortly after.
Here is the deal with this 850. It was imported from Japan in 2006 /2007 along with a few other cars. I imported a classic mini that I still have and my Dad imported a Brabus Mercedes 500SL that he still owns. We then came across the 850i and not knowing much about the car we agreed to split it…bad idea. The car is excellent however it is neither his nor mine so we simply do not drive the car. In addition, now do not live in the same city as the car and so it is time to sell. We imported it to Canada with 91,000kms (56,500miles) and it currently sits at 96,300kms (60,000miles). Do the math. It is actually sad for a car that was once $100,000 to be sitting around collecting dust. We simply are not driving it.
PLEASE NOTE You can buy other 850s, ut be prepared. You will have some very large bills in dealing with the 3 following issues that plague all 850s. I have had all 3 of these issues dealt with early on so you will not have to. The three are:
-Heater core replacement inlet and outlet fittings included (plastic elbows leak coolant into heater box)
-Intake manifold gaskets have been replaced. At this time, also had the cylinder heads rebuilt with new head gaskets installed because it wasn’t much extra to have that done as well.
-General module capacitor replacement.
If these issues have not been dealt with you will have to. To give you an idea of the cost, he heater core labor time is 10 hours, ntake manifold gasket replacement plus cylinder head replacement is 25.9 (plus cost of machining and rebuild), eneral module capacitor replacement is 3.0 hours. Even at a cheap labor rate you are looking at around $3000.00 for labor alone. Please do your research on these cars and buy with the confidence that these things have been dealt with dealt with.
There is some oil sweating from the oil pan gasket and I do mean that it is just sweating (not even a drip, ust residue). There is a small leak from the transmission output seal and both of those are a result of it not being driven. Oil seals and gaskets dry up without fluid pressure acting on the backside (so please drive it). The radio works but it does not work on North American frequencies since it was made for Japan but there are many alternatives to that problem (satellite radio, ftermarket or OEM deck or even a tape deck adapter). Everything else mechanically is great. It passed the Out-of-Country and Provincial inspections and has only had 5000 highway kms on it since. Brakes are good all the way around, joints are tight, iff and transmission are great, t shifts smoothly even when cold. The shocks are Bilsteins and the springs are slightly lower to eliminate the gap above the tires and they are made by Koni. The exhaust is a true dual exhaust and stays separate right from the manifolds. There is absolutely no rust on this car! Body is in great shape with a few door dings on the driver side, o chips in the paint on the front and windshield is new with no chips or cracks of any kind. The tires are brand new Nexen N3000, speed rating 245/40r18 front and 265/35r18 on the rear. Overall, he interior is in very good shape with normal wear for the age and mileage.
There are two issues with the car:
1. The headliner has a small sag in it which is common to many 850s. A seamstress glue or comparable product would remedy the problem, imagine it is very simple if you know what you are doing.
2. The batteries go flat if the car is not regularly driven as is the case with most cars not being driven frequently enough. The batteries need to be disconnected when parked over the winter or for long periods without use. This basically speaks to whoever buys the car... it needs to be driven and not occasionally admired.
I have nothing to hide on this car and told you about the good, he bad and the ugly. If you are interested in this vehicle, lease call me at 403-393-2345 and I will go over everything with you in great detail...there will be NO surprises.

One of the lowest miles on any 850 currently on eBay.
