Description

This is a 1971 BMW 2002 Base coupe.It has the original 2.0 motor and 4 speed transmission. This car had athorough restoration($20K) done in 2008 and still shows well. Overall the car presents very well with only a few minor blemishes as can be expected for the age of the car. It starts right up and runs andshifts well. It idles at 1100 rpm andtemperature holds steady midway on the gauge.All gauges are functioning properly and the radio still works. The interior is in excellent condition with no wear or tear on the seats and headliner is still excellent.Windows and doors function as they should.Overall the paint shines nicely and the chrome trim is in very good condition with nice patina. Wheels and tires are in good condition. The mileage is believed to be consistent with the age and condition of the car, owever the mileage on the FL title is marked exempt due to age. This car came from a local collection and is only being sold to make room for a new toy. It has spent the last 4 years in a climate controlled hangar and driven sparingly.
