Description

Hello eBay! Some of you may remember this car from November/December. Brought to you today is a very rare and unique car imported from Japan in 2015; 1 of 2,100. Likely the only Euro-M535i Japanese-Spec in the country, this BMW is the cosmetic precedent for M535i's in the country based on my research. You will be hard pressed to find one in this good of condition, let alone LHD! As for condition, there is no rust as it comes from a climate where salt and weather are not an issue. As for work I've done, fluid changes, hood insulation, interior lining, new battery, fixing loose ends, and some other small things. It is the low compression engine, opposed to the high compression noncatalytic. Has BBS wheels, not original but look 1000x better in my opinion. This car has been in storage for the winter. I'm taking a job in Southern California thus I cannot register it there because of their emission standards as they are the only state of their kind. This car turns heads everywhere I go and it is a great story to tell. I challenge anyone to import one of the caliber at the same price. I have complete records of import, so all you need is VIN to register as a classic car. Also have the original owner manual and guide, all of which are in Japanese so it looks really unique and they look as if they were made yesterday. Two sets of keys too.
Interior: 9.5/10 - tiny dashboard crack (quite common) and aftermarket stereo that is unhooked. Looks like upgraded speakers as well.
Exterior: 9/10 - No rust, dents or dings. Tiny paint chipping on mirrors and little rock chips that are hardly noticeable.

What it needs...An exhaust clamp needs to be welded and there may be an electrical drainage. There is a kill switch for the battery so as long as that is switched prior to leaving it, drainage is not an issue. This car is 90% of they way there, with a little money invested into the engine (sounds like lifters are running out of alignment) and eventual (subjective) sport suspension upgrade, this car will be the ultimate sunday driver. The paint looks pretty good as you can see, some spots have been repainted but it was matched to original color.
I've done some marketing trends with excel forecasting for over the last half decade. I've seen on with 129k sell for 14k six years ago, I've seen a RHD with more miles sell for 12k last summer, and the most exquisite I've seen sold for 16k over a year ago with nearly the same miles. This is 25% the price of an M3 and about 50% of a M5, assuming they aren't beat to shit.
I started this bad b**** up today and she drove great. She really needs someone who will love and appreciate her. PM me for many more pictures or questions - I will send email and google drive links.

Edit 5/25: I've had inquiries about the title. If you do your research online, Japanese titles are typically converted to English by exporter in the form of an Export Certificate. If you were to show up to the DMV with a Japanese document it would be utterly useless. PM me and I can send you the export certificate (title) in Japanese and English. Other documents at request.
In regards to transferring the car/title:
Exempt vehicles-

Vehicles that have a model year of 1999 or older are not titled

New Hampshire does not issue titles for vehicles that have a model year of 1999 or older, except for heavy trucks with three (3) axles or more, or truck tractors whose gross vehicle weight exceeds 18,000 pounds which must always be titled regardless of age. Also, vehicles that are over 25 years of age may only be titled at an owner's request.

If the vehicle is exempt from a title, you will need to provide:

    • 1) ABill of SaleANDa completedVerification of Vehicle Identification(Form TDMV 19A). Verification of Vehicle Identiifcation can be completed simply by me bringing it to a registered inspection station so they can confirm the car is what I say it is and check the VIN is real etc...
      OR
    • 2) ABill of SaleANDcopy of the previous registration certificate or title (the export certificate)
  • The following can be completed by simply scanning documents.
