Description

For your consideration is this 1993 BMW 525i Sedan. She has almost 290k miles on her. I have owned her for the past five years and put almost 100k of those miles on the clock, so I know the vehicle quite well. The interior is in decent shape. Obviously, the driver's seat is shredded but the other seats are ok. It has a Kenwood deck in it that is Bluetooth equipped and actually works! All the dash lights work. The OBC works. A/C works but there is some leakage. Driver's power seat works fine just as it should, passenger's will go forward and back but does not recline.
Car has typical fluid leaks you would expect from an M50 engine with almost 300k on it. Needs a quart of oil about every three fill-ups. There's also a bit of oxidation on the underside of the vehicle. She was originally from up north before she came to live in Florida many years ago.
I installed an aftermarket exhaust on her which gives her a nice throaty type sound, not nasally at all. Very tasteful exhaust tip on it. Also has Bilstein sport struts on all four corners. Tires are relatively new and battery is brand new.
I have a half-inch thick file of receipts of all I've done to her that will come with the vehicle. Clean title in hand.
This is one of the last great BMWs and this one in particular is a lot of fun to drive, very responsive. 1993 was also the last year BMW put limited-slip diffs on the 5-series. If you enjoy working on cars, you will be able to do a lot with this one. She still has tons of life left in her. Unfortunately, I'm not mechanically inclined and would have to pay for all she needs and right now just can't justify pouring any more money into her. I am a BMW enthusiast, so I would be delighted for her to go to a fellow roundel-lover.
