Up for auction is my 1970 BMW 1600
Great car, highly collectible BMW
A great solid rust free western body painted solid black, excellent paint with high reflective quality. One tiny crack on hood. I would call it high driver quality. Original color was a sweet medium blue.
Underbody and suspension are solid and rust free.
All chrome in place and in excellent condition.
Born as a 1600, it now has a professionally installed low mileage1971 2002 Engine and trans, has the 4 spd with hydraulic clutch. Runs and drives excellent. Previous owner added a 1602 rearemblem with the engine swap.
Interior is pretty much original and in great shape. Door panels are wrapped in the flat vinyl you see now, not sure of condition underneath. Dash has cracks but I am including a new dash cap in the sale. Headliner is in and nice shape. Windows work great. Sunroof is inop. previous owner told me he had the body shop seal it with sealer as he couldn't get a small leak to stop. I'm told the sunroof will work if sealer is removed.Gauges work except tach.Interior is the area of improvement.
Nice wheels and tires.
Runs stops steers as it should. Handles amazing.
Brand new exhaust.
Beautiful car that's a blast to drive and ready to go. No leaks, starts every time.
Selling off some toys and just don't drive this much.
These cars are hot and sure to appreciate in value.
Mine is priced to sell.
