A Completely Restored & One of a Kind 1973 BMW 2002tii (Roundie) with an E30 M3 S14 2.5 EVO motor, 5-speed transmission and LSD Differential. This original tii was completely restored less than two years ago and is one of the nicest in the country. Since the restoration it has only been driven on occasion and only in optimum weather conditions. It runs and drives as good as it looks and constantly turns heads.
The engine was built by Metric Mechanic in Missouri who specializes in building S14 EVO Spec. engines. The 2.5 Liter engine puts out 275HP, sounds spectacular and is an absolute thrill to drive. Many other upgrades were also performed which include a 5-speed transmission, Miller air mass meter, custom made cold air intake, Dinan camshaft sprocket, e30 M3 ECU’s, front and rear Bilstein shocks, HR Springs, suspension arms, new front and rear brakes, urethane bushings all around and much more. It drives down the road quick, smooth and tight with no rattles or vibrations. Superior handling.
This tii is Absolutely Stunning.. A work of Art. During the restoration the body was completely disassembled and refinished in its original factory color of Inka Orange which was verified by BMW of USA. All of the chrome moldings were shaved and 2002 Turbo Fender Flairs, Zender Air dams, 16” RS style wheels, Euro front headlight grills and a Euro rear bumper were installed to perfect the look.
The Interior was completely redone with black leather front and rear seats, new carpeting, door panels, center console, dash cover, headliner and rear deck lid. The trunk was also custom finished with black vinyl removable panels.
This BMW was awarded 1ST Place at the 2015 BMW Event that was held at Homestead Speedway in Miami, FL. (Trophy Included)
A Folder of documentation dating from 1992 is included with the sale as well as many photos and videos of the restoration process.
