Description

1991 325iX 4-door. This was BMW's first AWD vehicle. This is a rare 5sp manual version of an already special car!
Car runs and drives but does need some TLC. It would make an awesome winter beater. The AWD system has amazing grip while being rear biased for the famous BMW sporty feel. No annoying nannies or traction control systems to choke your power in the snow. This car is a blast to drive year round. The sound from that straight six gets me every time I get on it. Transmission and clutch shift smoothly. The car passes the jack test and I have video. I just don't have the time to keep up with an older car anymore and I've replaced it with a newer car.
All fluids replaced within 10k
New u-joint in rear driveshaft
New seals and bearings in rear diff
Maintenance is up to date and car runs well with the following issues:
Electric fan does not work. Replacement included
Radio doesn't work
AC doesn't work. Blows fuse when engaged. Used to function well.
Tear in driver's seat bottom
Battery doesn't hold a charge
Tires are worn
Rust on doors, driver's floor, quarter panels
Heated seats do not work
Rear driver's door latch sticks. Needs disassembly and greasing.
Tach & speedo do not work. Fuel & temp gauges function fine.
Odo reads 165,633 but because it stopped working, I estimate the mileage to be about 180k.
