1969 BMW 2002 Charmonix White Street / Track

Nicely updated Original Charmonix White 2002. Updates include with bare metal paint with high end PPG base coat clear coat complete repaint inside and out "M" stripe outside M stitching inside high performance 292 cam engine port and polished Panasport wheels high perf BFG rubber Recaro style seats in 2002 turbo style stitch LED lighting leather wrap dash modern slide back electric moonroof with alcantera style headliner... 5 speed Getrag 245 upgrade Dual Ansa muffler with custom exhaust Shrick style header rebuilt engine port and polished and tuned for performance. Car is ready for fun both on street and light track use.

Note: Rally stripes are done in 3M solid vinyl but can also easily be removed with heat gun if new owner prefers a stock look

Body and Appearance Upgrades

· Mostly bare metal strip with new PPG base coat clear coat in original Charmonix White. Was painted over a year ago and has been driven so a few minorimperfectionsbut overall very nice paint

· Dallas TX car with no cancer completely updated so preserved for next 50 years

·Front bumper removed and Kamei spoiler installed for aggressive look (but could be returned to stock bumpers quickly if ever desired)

·Rear bumper removed with body lines shaved smoothed and impact strip installed (again rear chrome bumper could be added easily)

· Modern custom glass moonroof / sunroof electric slide back in headliner custom sized to fit in body lines on top of car with Alcantera style blacksuede linerheadliner

·Panasport style 15x7 wheels with set of high speed rated BFG street track tires new. New BMW roundels in wheel caps locking lug nuts

·All new rubber seals in doors front and back glass side glass trunk

·New windshield

·Custom rally accent "M" colors on rally stripe

· All trim tail lights etc. in excellent condition

·Front grills polished and reconditioned in nice shape but not flawless

• Hella H4 Halogen front headlight upgrade
• Turn signals dash lights heater blower brake lights etc. all work

Engine upgrades

·All new peripheral(alternator voltage regulator water pump ignition plug wires new 32/36 Weber carburetor with electric choke

· Complete engine rebuild 18 months ago with cylinder head recently removed and upgraded with 292 solid billet camextensivematch porting of exhaust to cylinder head and intake port and polished and tested on flow bench. Car has not been dynoed but has significant improved performance over stock.

· 5 speed Getrag upgrade from 320i new clutch hydraulics 5 speed shifts smooth and crisp. Includes 5 speed shift knob from e36

·High performance header and exhaust installed including new center pipe with dual time ANSA muffer (sweet sound). Throaty on the boarder of loud... sounds great. However if want milder exhaust note just add back in center stock resonator (muffler)

· New KYB struts / shocks and all suspension bushing ball joints tie rod ends center drag link checked most replaced 1.5 years back when car was originally built

Interior upgrades

· Rare original period Moto Lita wood steering wheel with BMW center cap and trim. Horn works wheel has been refinished.. nice feel grip and look

·Leather wrapdone on dash with leather wrap dash cover and custom "M" color stitching around instrument cluster to match leather shift boot and same stitching on Recaro style seat headrests. Just nice accents no gaudy contrasting non original looking piping... subtle and nice

·All new interiordoor panels recaro style "Flow Fit" period correct seats all re-done in heavy foam (verycomfortable) carpet leather dash cover package trey etc. in euro vinyl solid and perforated

- Custom German cup-holder to be installed if new owner would like on console folds up when not in use. Really works well on all size cups and cans

· Instrument cluster redone all instruments work (not sure about odometer as they rarely work

· Heater blow motor replaced rest of system refreshed and tested with new Bosch motor installed and tested

·Vehicle has new black suedliner headliner installed

· New sound deadening and salt and pepper grey carpet installed when car built 1.5 years back

· BMW Cocoa mats with blue and tan inserts (new).

· LED lighting inside car for door adjustable from white to blue to blue and white (see pics)

Other

· New stereo with USB connection and CD Player.. under dash powered radio antenna

· Car runs drives shifts excellent fast throaty exhaust great sunroof.. just fun but practical on street or on track

·Third LED Brake light added in back window for safety

· Truck in excellent shape repainted new trunk boards covered in black vinyl
