Description

This is my wife's 1987 BMW 325 that has been upgraded for some autocross duty but compliant enough to drive every day. The car has done only a couple events driven around town here and there but for the most part it just sits in the garage and we would rather have the space. Happy to get into an exhaustive list of every little part with serious buyers but in short the car has a 1988 325 "super-eta" 2.7 liter with the "I" cylinder head and supporting modifications that people interested in these cars seem to be familiar with. The car's A/C is R134a works and it is cold. As stated for autocross the car has various aftermarket suspension parts but the ride is not overly firm and the car does not sit abnormally low. As seen in the pictures the car has European market body parts and Ronal LS wheels with the proper bolt pattern to fit the E30 BMW. The car is not perfect and has imperfections that may not show on a camera but is presentable with a nicely understated OEM look. Frankly I never understood how this little car gets so much attention everywhere it goes. I kindly ask for serious buyers only contact about the car as we are busy adults that may not have the time to accommodate everyone. Engine: Cylinder head rebuilt by Myster-e performance ported with 274 camshaft on top of 1988 super-eta bottom end. Bosch Green M50 injectors RMR adjustable cam sprocket Ireland Engineering adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Squid tuning software Rebuilt Air Fuel Meter by someone on a forum. There is a sticker on it with name. Ireland Engineering short headers into stock bosal 325i Transmission: Trans is stock Getrag 260 with bavauto sport clutch kit Z3 shifter with AKG solid shifter linkage part (I forget what AKG called that thing. It replaced a stock bmw shift linkage piece to something more robust). Rear differential is 3.25 ratio Limited Slip from 5 series bmw. Suspension Ireland Engineering swaybars H&R OEM sport springs with Tokico shocks. Ireland Engineering suspension/subframe bushings AKG weld-on reinforcements on both front and rear subframes. Reman E36 M3 steering rack with AKG bushing. Front control arms/ball joints/tierods all replaced with good German aftermarket parts. Since converted to street tires we had the toe alignment corrected to stock. The tires got feathered a little before this but has quieted down.
