**1940 Buick : Super 8-Coupe Convertible:::::Two owners in 75 years ( the original 1940 purchaser owned it 65 of the 75 years & it was only sold by his son due to his death ).

No holes in floors, runk, r rockers.Starts, ccelerates, amp; shifts quietly. Still starts with gas pedal push & has the original old fashioned 6volt battery. Starting is so easy the 6 volts doesn't seem to strain.

**Body & Paint: solid body metals with very little repair, f any. Splash fender areas & wells are rustfree. The paint is original (old & still serving). Driver's roll up window glass has a crack, ut is firm ¬ unpleasing, till water tight, nbsp;winds flawlessly, o visual blocks, o no need to change any time soon. Glass is available on Ebay. All other glass is perfect. Windows roll up/down great. All chromes (door window surround frames, tcetera) are Nice. Doors close nicely with hardly any effort & have good alignments with NO drops. And, hey lock. No rust bottoms or skins.

**Interior & top: ALL recently NEW. Looks to have been a power top, ut long time ago (switch under dash not hooked up; hand operation is the NOW method). Top clamps nicely with very little effort.

**Engine: the straight eight overhead original motor. Smooth operation, o oil smoke, ot overheat & no valve tapping

**Stability: Stays fairly true on road with minimal steering wheel play (acceptable & better than most I've known). Had recent new brake work (stop on a dime thing)........................................

**Transmission: manual column shift seems to be flawless(rebuilt). No clutch slippage, oise, r kinking(all new parts).

**Gauges:That are working-gas, harge, il pressure, emperature. Not work: rear directional lights, orn. Speedometer works, ut seems half scale). Heater is hooked up (fan motors underthe front seat is "heated seat" 1940 STYLE )...............The emergency brake does work.

**Comes with two sets of tires( the tires on the car pictured are new), riginal hubcaps & beauty rings. 904-881-3495.
