Listing for a older gentleman due to illness His 1953 buick skylark convertible . uilt in February 1953 was one of 1. 90 built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of buick 322/188 hp fireball v8 engine 3-speed dynaflow automatic trans. Independent front suspension with coil springs. live rear axle and 4wheel power drum brakes. ower windows . ower top. nd power streering . this skylark was restored about 13 years ago and is a all matching numbers car. this car spent most of its life in rust-free California and Nevada . ltimately into a museum in a private collection . presented with a new frame on body repaint in 2008 with red/ and white leather interior accented with a new black convertible top chrome and stainless was also refurbished at the time. along with the stunning Kelsey Hayes wire wheels and spinners . the eye -catching red and white leather interior was also restored with all the upholstered in already good condition . the skylark displays the correct restored steering wheel along with all properly fitted carpet . A wide white wall spare tire mounted on the original chrome Kelsey Hayes 40 spoke is located in its proper location . the extensively detailed engine compartment reveals the 322cid overhead valve nailhead v8 engine. The engine block and rocker covers are refinished in buick green while various other components are finished in beautiful black this buick is a very nice high end drivers all power accessories work while running and driving great.
