The Riviera was radically redesigned for the 1971 model year with flowing and dramatic "boat-tail" styling.
Designed under Bill Mitchell's direction it was penned by Jerry Hirshberg future head of design for Nissan mating the two-piece vee - butted fastback rear window inspired by the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray split window coupe to the Riviera's platform.
The Boat Tail Riviera are quickly becoming a must have in prominent car collections and are rapidly increasing in value with no limit in sight.
Hagerty rates it as one of a handful of cars that will continue to increase in value in the Collector Car circle!

The Exterior Paint is in very nice condition with few flaws other than the odd chip or nick.
The Exterior Trim is all original to the car nothing is missing and its all in very nice condition given its age.
There is a small ding on the passenger corner of the rear bumper....that is about it.
The glass is all in great condition.
The correct factory rally wheels are all very nice and the tires are in great shape.
The Vinyl roof is also in great shape with no bubbling or blistering or signs of issues underneath it.
Rock solid chassis as you can see by the photos.
The Saddle Interior is all original and in great condition.
There are no tears or splits on the seats the headliner is perfect and the dash doesnt have a crack!
The drivers side door panel does have a patch on the armrest where it obviously got the most wear.
The carpet could be replaced as it is original and that would really take the interior up to a great overall condition.

The Engine Compartment is super tidy showing pride of ownership and maintenance.
This is a "righteous" car by the way it feels drives sounds and its obvious the low miles and care from its owners kept this car well preserved!
Overall this Riviera runs our fantastic accelerates well handles great firm shifting and a typical smooth and luxurious Riveria ride!
