Description

It's summertime! Up for auction is my 1971 Buick Centurion convertible. It is one of only 2,500 built for 1971. The car is very solid except for one spot on the left fender and behind the left rear wheel well. The frame, loors and trunk are all solid, s are the bottoms of both doors. All the exterior trim pieces and moldings are intact. The top has had new cables installed and the frame aligned. It goes up and down with no manual assistance. The car retains all of its original glass, ncluding the windshield with the antenna built into it. There is an aftermarket AMFM/8TRACK radio in the dash that was not cut when it was installed. The A/C system is intact but does not work. I never use it here in New England. The car is equipped with power steering, ower front disc brakes, ower windows, ocks and front bench seat. The car goes down the road straight with no pulling or vibrations. The 455 engine is quiet and has plenty of torque.The dash has no cracks. The front seat has some seam separation on the driver's side. There is a spare tire, ack, nd lug wrench in the trunk. The right side of the car was painted at some point, ot sure why. The doors close well and do not sag. I also have the original owner's manual, rotect-o-plate, nd full-line '71 Buick showroom brochure.
