This is a true 1964 Riviera dual quad KX code numbers matching car with a clear Nebraska title. It has been in storage for a long time. It is Not road worthy and will need a total restoration. It does run and drive short distances. The brakes are bad. As you can see in the photos I ran it off of a gas can. I didn't drop the tank and didn't want to take a chance running junk through the engine. The engine starts right up, oesn't smoke and sounds real healthy. When I bought the car the dual quad intake and carbs were inside the car in a box. They probably will need gone through. I was told they were replaced with the single carb for better fuel economy. The finned valve covers were replaced with the orange ones in the photo sometime in it's life. I do not have them but they are available on the net. The door guard trim is also missing. Someone removed the exhaust system to replace both front floor pans I think. The rearfloors and the trunk floor are solid. You can see the rust over the left rear wheel well. The rockers do not appear to be rusted all though they are dented. The transmission leaks about a quart a year sitting, ut all the gears work. I do have a brand new drivers side seat cover from Clarks that goes with the car.
The trim tag reads: 11E Flint, ichigan**Style 64-4747**FB 8020 Body**Trim 628** KK paint**ACC. EXTS-2KR-4F-5ZK.
Here is a list of the options: Posi traction, ower drivers seat, ront and rear seat belts, ower antenna ( I didn't get it to work), m/Fm wonderbar radio (works), ear speaker, ower windows (all work), inted windows, lock (works), ruise control, ilt steering column, ir conditioning, emote mirror, anity mirror, ornering lights, uidematic, uto trunk release, eavy duty springs and air shocks, actory undercoating.
Available to the winning bidder but not included in this auction is a running parts car with just about everything needed to complete the restoration. I mention this because you may want to arrange transportation for 2 cars.
