Description

In the 1950s Detroit stylists were busy exploring the boundaries of their imaginations, oing where no man had gone before. The result of these forays to the outer limits produced the hardtop body structure and the all-steel station wagon, wo major innovations with differing advantages. The steel wagon meant much less maintenance and more resistance to the woodie’s inherent noise and inevitable structural degradation, hile the hardtop was the answer to the buyer looking for convertible-style airiness with the safety of a sedan. Inevitably, ngineers and stylists wedded the two in the 1957 Buick Caballero station wagon, short-lived model that today enjoys great collector appeal. Finished in Red over White, his 1957 Caballero wagon uses the Century’s higher-rated 364/300 HP V-8 coupled to an automatic transmission and is fully equipped in typical Century high style with power steering and brakes, nd Factory Air Conditioning. This one has been sitting for a few years and was running when parked. It will likely not take much to get it running and driving again. Which I will be doing as this auction gains interest.

The good: Solid body, verything was working great when parked not too many years ago and ran excellent, aint shines.

The bad: Floors have been patched not replaced, chrome is presentable but could use some replating, nd Interior needs replaced

There was 10,186 of these cars produced and most have disappeared. What is left is a highly desirable and collectable car that shows its value in all the price guides with low retail prices in the $20,000 range. Feel free to make me offers but don't be rude.

I started the Buick up today and it does run on a gas can with no noises and seems to be a good strong motor. There is no brake pedal, ill likely need a master cylinder rebuild minimum.
