We purchased this vehicle out of a prominent collection with another Buick which you may also see in our current inventory. This Buick is definitely in excellent overall condition as it has been tastefully, orrectly and painstakingly restored!
Finished in deep black with tan interior, he car has benefitted from a full nut & bolt restoration and still presents itself very well today. The paint on the car looks very good with only a few minor imperfections. The body is solid with curvy lines that war cars are known for. The chrome and bright work on the car is in great condition with a brilliant shine. The undercarriage is just as nice as the exterior of the car! Overall, his classic Buick shows itself well and is ready to win a trophy wherever it goes!
Inside, he car has been reupholstered to the original style and is in excellent condition! The door panels, eadliner and seats are all finished in the same period correct, an cloth which is in great condition. The same is true for the rear seats. The rear seats are extremely spacious and very comfortable. The carpet is in great condition as well. It should be noted that the vacuum windshield wipers and horn are currently inoperable. The dashboard is finished in a “wood” like veneer and looks great with no cracking or buckling. The dash houses a set of original style gauges that look great, s well as an AM radio and clock. In the glove-box, ou will find the original Buick Owner’s Manual as well as a tag attached to the rear of the clock showing that it is a TRUE Buick Electric Clock! Neat!
Under the hood, ou’ll find the Buick Straight 8 engine. Mated to the engine is a 3-speed manual transmission that is shifted through the floor. The transmission is a sliding gear transmission with a single dry plate clutch with shaft drive. It runs and drives great! The Buick sits upon a set of black steel wheels with chrome Buick hubcaps and beauty rings that are all in very good condition. The wheels are wrapped in period correct 6.50-16 BF Goodrich Silvertown wide white wall tires that look excellent.
This classic Buick would make an excellent addition to just about any collection or as a Sunday driver to throw the family in for an ice cream!
