Description

Selling my clean original 1988 Buick LeSabre Estate wagon. Very nice overall condition. Never wrecked and never rusted. Still wearing its original paint. Paint has excellent gloss and still shines very well. Minor nicks and scratches as to be expected after 27 years. Lifelong Pacific Northwest car so its never been in road salt and never started to rust. Still has the factory white paint on the rust-free underbody. Interior is completely original as well. Seats have no rips or noticeable soiling. Carpet has no worn out areas. Dash is in excellent condition with no cracks. Has the optional rear-facing third seat. making it an 8-passenger wagon. Tailgate has two-way functionality (swings out or flips down). Engine is an Oldsmobile 307 cu. in. V8 that runs great. No smoking or knocking. Transmission is a 3-speed Automatic with Overdrive. No leaks or apparent mechanical issues. Trans shifts firmly through all the gears and operates fine with no slipping. Tires are nearly new radials with 1/4" or more of tread. Suspension and brakes appear to be in good working condition. Glides smoothly down the highway at 70 mph with no shimmy or vibration. like a big old cruiser should. Options include power steering. power disc brakes. AC (seems to work and blow cold). working cruise control. tilt wheel. AM/FM Casette. power door locks. roof rack. factory Buick wire wheel covers. towing package. The wagon recently had the MAP sensor and O2 sensor replaced. I also had a brand new windshield installed due to a crack in the old one. There is an oil change service sticker in the car from the previous owner indicating the next oil change not being due for a while yet. There were some old GM belts in the cargo area. and the car has newer GM belts on it now. so it looks like the previous owner had it serviced at the GM dealer (always a good sign in my book). The power door locks are not presently working. I can hear a relay clicking in the passenger side kick panel when either door switch is depressed. but the locks do not pop up or down. Odometer shows 66. 13. which appears to be 166. 13 based on history report. Clear Oregon title is in my name. I believe I am the third owner. I will assist buyer in getting car to your transporter. or will pick you up at Portland International Airport so you can drive it home in what will surely be a memorable road trip. Non-refundable deposit of $500 due within 24 hours via Paypal. Balance due within 72 hours via bank wire transfer or cashiers check. Zero-feedback bidders - please contact me via ebay messages prior to bidding so I can confirm you as a legitimate bidder. or else your bid may be cancelled. Classic full-size wagons are very popular now. especially when they are woody wagons! Fans of "That 70's Show" and "National Lampoon's Vacation" will surely appreciate this ride!Feel Free to contact me between 8am and 10pm PST at 360-608-0093 with any questions. Check out a 10+ minute walk-around YouTube video of the wagon where you can hear it run:http://youtu. be/3ujF92UsglQJust to avoid any confusion. the video mentions that the operation of the cruise control and AC are unknown. The video was filmed before the listing was created. Those components have since been tested. As stated above. the cruise does indeed work. The AC turns on and felt like it was blowing out fairly cold air when I tested it. but given that the outside temperature was mid-50's it was difficult to determine how well it was cooling.
