This Listing is for a 1989 Cadillac Coupe Deville. I bought this car 8 years ago from an estate sale of an elderly gentleman who passed away. He was in his 90s. (this car has never been smoked in, or had pets riding in the car. The inside still smells like leather) The slight damage to the rear right fender was when he backed into something coming out of his garage. The crack in the front right fender is when someone backed into me in a parking lot. The front fenders are plastic from the factory. This car has a good running 4.5 V8 with a fully operational air-conditioning system. All of the electronic gauges work. The on board computer is fully functional. There is a leak coming from a water line at a fitting that leads to the heater coil. It is visible and can be repaired from the engine compartment area. The front windshield has a crack in it from hot water on a cold day. This was an attempt to deice the window. (Not a smart move) This car has been a daily driver, until one year ago. I stopped driving the Cadillac when the front struts became loose, and the front end would shift on turns. This was not safe. (I did not repair). I saw a good van for sale. I bought this and parked the Cadillac. This car has been parked in our driveway ever since. I had planned on fixing it, however time has gone buy, and I have now decided to sell the Cadillac. The front seat has cracks in the leather. The steering wheel has cracks in the plastic, and the wood grain inlay is coming out. The door arm rest has cracks. The level ride system pump works and the automatic sensor control works. However the air shocks leak air and should be replaced. The top is in good condition, except for the small strip of trim in front should be replaced. This should be an easy job. This car has all leather interior. The heated mirrors and rear defoggers work well. This Cadillac has a powerful engine that starts and runs well. There is an exhaust leak. Because this is an older car with repairs needed, I am selling this old classic 2 door Cadillac “as is”. If you have questions you are always welcome to contact me. I will be glad to answer any questions you might have. Thank you for your interest in our auction. Good luck bidding. This car is being sold As-Is. It needs work...Great classic car to restore. The original factory paint looks nice.
