Description

The time has come to part ways with my Cadillac Spook Deville. If you have every wanted to own a hearse to stand out from a crowd, well this one will stand out from a crowd of Hearses. Originally starting its life as a service Hearse in the Dewitt Funeral Home in Hastings Ne, this old girl was nothing but reliable. Once they decided to put her out to pasture and I got my hands on her the game was on.
First off, the number one asked question, NO, it does not have a 666 cubic inch engine. It is powered by the 4.5L Cadillac V8 Front wheel drive. The side exhaust is not for show it is functional and sounds quite elegant coming from this all aluminium power plant. The Beast has only 65,097 miles on it and runs like a dream. It is dependable and actually gets fairly decent fuel economy on the highway. Let see a 500 caddy do that LOL.
A hearse with out modifications in my opinion is just a service car. Anyone can buy one. We drive these because we like the macabre and the attention they draw us. So for the right Hot Rod look she got a set of sweet Moto Metal Skull rims with spacers to set them out just right, and supply the correct bolt pattern. Factory Caddy tires and rims will go with the sale to the new buyer with great tires on them as well. While a custom Airbrush paint job or wrap wasn't in my budget at the time, a bunch of kick ass custom stickers were. From the Rules from Zombie Land to the Deadman Headers all of the graphics on here are sure to speak to someone out there who will connect personally with the hearse. While I was trying to create a completely immersive experience for the exterior of the hearse I also added a separate stereo that powers outdoor marine grade speakers for the Michael Myers soundtrack or just ghoulish screaming in the night. As well as a fog tunnel built into the old exhaust channel. The fog machine, deep cycle battery and power inverter are hidden inside the custom shortened Casket in the back, all is included in the sale. The fog adds an amazing effect with the LED underglow on which is wireless activated and has three different modes.
Now lets turn our attention to the interior. What fun is a vehicle this awesome if you can only bring one friend? What we did with The Spook Deville was pull the interior and cut the Casket table down and move the wall back to accommodate for an additional seat. I am somewhat particular about things being done properly so the back seat had amazing structure welded in and then bolted to that so rest assured it is safe and not going anywhere. I have plenty of pictures to show the new buyers of the process. We layed new carpet, I am not an upholsterer but It turned out okay in my opinion again I am really picky though. We then installed the complete leather interior and center console out of a 2005 Ford Explorer. Its gray in color and goes well with the blue dash. The seat belts are not hooked up just to be forward and honest with all prospective buyers it will require drilling and taping for the different seatbelts of the Ford. The Interior does have Green LED underglow under dash, seats and in the casket area. We constructed a custom stereo sleeve that holds the external stereo with a custom Dead Sled moniker on it and spider web design . We also installed an onboard Airlift helper spring kit to assist with the added weight of three people in the backseat with the casket.
Halloween is coming, do you want to be the hit on the block, wait scratch that, the hit of the town with the coolest damn themed Hearse Hot Rod?? I have a ton of money in this thing but I also have a ton of other projects that could use attention and money so I am starting the auction at a reasonable price with NO RESERVE and then putting a very fair Buy it Now. Bid to Win, Happy Halloween.
