Ihave hadboth carsfor roughly 5 years.I have started the restoration process on the DeVille and unable to continue due to further obligations. It is an Arizona car thatis 99 percent rust free only few little spots here and there.NO PANELS NEED REPLACING.I have all the original pieces, verynut and bolthas been bagged and tagged. Every panel is original and the complete exterior has been stripped to bare metal by hand NO BLASTING, hen treated with PPG dp90. The floor pans have been treated withPor15. Eastwood's rust encapsulator was used on the underside and trunk pans. The entire frame wasmedia blasted to bare metal then treated with Eastwood's products, sealed with an epoxy primer, hen painted with 3 coats of single urathane gloss black and3 coats of clear coat on top of that. Every worn out chassis component was replacedincluding bushings, all joints, teering gear and linkage.
The Series 62is a factory a/c car with a good running 390. Engine and trans were rebuilt in 1994.This car has various other good parts on it including left rear quater panel, oth doors, oof and package tray, owling, firewall, ront fender wells, adiator core support, nd various other parts including trim parts.Bumpers need to be rechromed as usualfor a 55 year old car. Both cars have good backglass and quarter glass.I have good front door glass but I am not happy with the condition of the chrome trim around the glass and was going to order new ones from OPGI.You will need a windshield.I also have another 390 engine with transmissionsthat can go with this auction.Look up what these parts off the Series 62 go for. You can recoup a lot of your money just from selling off the un needed parts.
There has been a TON of time and money invested in to this project. From searching out the cars, ost of parts, nd labor put in to them. I had the DeVille shipped from Arizona for this project.
If you have any question do not hesitate the message me. I can also provide my phone number through message so we can talk about these cars. I can provide more photos or specific photos upon request.
