Description

I am helping a friend sell this '49 Cadillac 'Fastback'. The car and the clear title are in my possession in Southern California.
I've been told it's a good driver and was primarily driven on weekends to local 'show & shines'. It has nice, ut NOT perfect paint job. The chrome too is not perfect but very presentable (see photo of front bumper it's the worst). The interior is done in a reproduction o.e. (originalequipment) cloth and is in 'near perfect' condition.
The engine is a late 60's to mid 70's Cadillac 472 engine. The previous owner believes it was from a '75 Cadillac. The Transmission is from the same vehicle and should be a Cadillac TH-400. It is the original frame and suspension,('knee-action' shocks). One coil was cut from the front springs to lower it slightly and there are 2" lowering blocks in the rear. The rear end appears to be the original '49 Cadillac rear end.
There is a chip in one of the windshields, see photo) and a crack running through one of the rear side windows, see photo).

A $2000.00 non-refundable deposit will be required within 48 hrs at close of auction. Final balance payment to be arranged between buyer and seller within 7 days of close of auction.
Shipping is to be arranged by buyer. I will assist in recommending some transfer companies but will NOT be responsible for any final decisions made by buyer.
