Hello, his listing is for one 1955 Chevrolet Belair Two Door Hardtop. This carstarted lifein the Janesville WI assembly plant. Originally produced with a V8 automatic in Shoreline Beige and Gypsy Red two tone paint. The car was converted to stick shift and drag raced in the mid sixties. I found some ET slips and ticket stubs from the Des Moines Drag Way when cleaning out the car for pictures. There was also paperwork that car raced at Indianapolis in 1966. At some point the engine must have blown up because all that is left is two power pack heads, crank shaft, isc parts, h yea and seven rods with pistons. The transmission and bell housing are missing but the drive shaft and z bar are there. There is rust in both quarter panels and rockers as well as the left inner wheel well in the trunk. The bottom of the right front fender and both eyebrow caps will needrepair. The front drivers floor and some of the floor braces will also need replaced. On the brighter side the cars trim looks to be complete and the rare front seat is inplace. The car has been in storage for a long time and is in need of and worthy or a full restoration.
