Description

Older project that got stopped about 10 years ago. Has been sitting in my barn and covered with dust. I have had the car since 1994. No hood...no carb...dash is out...dry rotted tires that pump up but leak slowly. Small amounts of bondo but a straight body. On the upside the original engine was a 267 v8 that got replaced with a 454 with 1973 oval port heads. Built very mild with honing and original size rings. So basically its a virgin block. All bearings were replaced and a .55" lift cam installed. It has Rhodes variable duration lifters for more idling vacuum. Edelbrock AL intake. Hooker headers. 3 core radiator and flex fan. The engine was last started about 7 years ago and has sat with the same oil and antifreeze in it ever since. The car has never been raced and has a straight frame. The door seals were replaced and doors rehung. Window felt was replaced also, s was the sunroof. The transmission is an automatic 3 speed that has one rebuild on it. The rearend is out of a 1962 malibu with a larger ring and pinion gear than stock. It has an Auburn Possi and Richmond 4:10 gears. Any work that was done on this car has been over 10 years ago...I only test drove it after the rebuild...probably less than 500 miles on the engine.
