PLEASE READ!
This is an all original 1981 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista. The truck is equipped with a 3.8L 229CID V6 engine, hich is coupled with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The truck’s odometer reads a little over 141k miles. The truck has a clean Georgia title, hich I have in my possession. This truck does not currently run or drive. I purchased this truck in November of 2014 and I drove it home from Suwanee, A to Conyers, A, ut the engine ran very poorly. I immediately began to replace parts on the truck’s engine in hopes of getting it to run correctly. However, y efforts to get the engine to run correctly were in vain and I was unsuccessful. I purchased a slew of brand new parts for this truck, ut the majority of them have been removed to accommodate a price reduction. But, he truck still has a brand new master cylinder, ew brake rotors, nd new brake pads.
This truck is in fair condition and it obviously needs some work. However, his is an El Camino and these trucks can be very valuable if restored in the correct manner. The truck has a list of issues, ome need immediate attention and others don’t. The engine does not run and it is missing the carburetor, lternator, attery, tarter, park plugs, park plug wires, istributor cap and rotor, nd a few other parts. All of these items had been replaced with new ones, ut again, removed these parts to accommodate a price reduction. The transmission shifted smoothly and pulled strongly the last time I drove the truck. There are several dents and dings around the body of the truck. The paint is dull, aded, nd cracking in some areas. The floor pans are rusted and some areas are cancerous and completely rusted through. There are no other serious rust spots on the truck, esides the rust in the floor pans. The frame of the truck is straight and virtually rust-free, rom what I can see. The truck’s interior is in fair condition. The dashboard is cracked, he driver’s side portion of the bench seat is torn and ragged, he interior plastic trim is faded and chipping, he carpet is dirty, nd I replaced the driver’s side door latch and left off the old raggedy door panel (the door panel comes with the truck). The steering column is busted, hich is the result of a theft attempt that occurred before I purchased the truck. The muffler was hacked off by the previous owner. This sounds like a lot, ut most of this stuff is strictly cosmetic and of little importance.
The wheels that you see in the pictures and video have been sold. This truck is currently sitting in my garage on jack stands. If you want this truck, hen you’ll need a set of wheels, car hauler or tow truck, nd some cash money. The bolt pattern for this truck is 5x4.75 or 5x120.7.
This is a fifth generation El Camino and it is part of GM’s 1978-1981 A-body platform. This particular El Camino was assembled in Doraville, A (identified by the “D” in the VIN number) and it was sold at a Chevrolet dealership in Conyers, A shortly thereafter. This truck would make an excellent candidate for a complete restoration or you could turn it into a cool rat rod.
I know what this truck is worth and I know how much it would cost to get it back on the road! This description is accurate and detailed. My asking price is fair and reasonable and it is non-negotiable! Project cars aren't for everyone and this truck is no exception. This truck is not for fruitcakes that want to look cool in a retro Chevy! If you don't have any mechanical know-how or if you don't have the resources to have this truck fixed at an affordable rate, hen you shouldn't be interested in it! Please don’t contact me if you aren’t straightforward and about business, on’t waste my time!
I guess I should mention that not a single person has come to see this truck since I put it up for sale seven months ago. I'd like to sell this El Camino as soon as possible. I can be contacted directly via phone or text message at (770) 462-4498.
This vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- Are you willing to ship this truck out of state?
Yes! However, will not accept payment via PayPal and the truck doesn't have any wheels on it. In order to ship this truck, would need an additional $100 to purchase a set of wheels for the truck, would need to be paid in cash (there are several options), nd you'd have to arrange and fund your own shipping.
- How bad is the rust in the floor pans?
Unfortunately, oth rear floor pans and the front passenger side floor pan will need to be completely replaced. The front driver's side floor pan is in great condition.

No!
- Are you willing to trade your El Camino?
