1957 CHEVROLET
BEL AIR 2 2DR SEDAN (POST)
BARN FIND!
This 1957 Chevy came out of a barn in Pueblo Colorado. It is an exceptionaly nice car for someone to restore or even leave and drive the way it is. The body is very clean and very rust free with only a few small spots that I will detail. The trim on the car is very complete and only minor repairable dings on it. The bumpers are not rusty at all and perfect for re-chroming. The only broken piece of trim I noticed was the left headlamp door. There is no rust in the floors or the trunk floor with the exception of the spare tire well, bout 3" in diameter. The rockers have had some very poor work done on them but overall they're very clean as well, I tried to take very descriptive pictures). Underneath the rockers are very clean as are the floors. The body supports are uncharacteristicly clean, 4th support back on right side has small 1" hole and 2nd support on left side has some rust in it). However where they attach to the floor is clean. The windshield and left vent window are broken but all of the other glass is very nice.
The car needed the carburetor re-built, he fuel line and sending unit replaced, heel cylinders and master cylinder replaced, ut is now a running driving car. The car also still has original paint on it with the exception of the bad body work spots on the lower front fenders and in front of the rear wheel wells, see picture).
Overall this is a very clean car with everything there to drive as is or restore without spending a fortune looking for parts or spending a ton on rust repair. Thanks for looking and please let me know if you have any questions, r feel free to call and I'll try to be as helpful as possible. (719-358-1860). Thank you again, lint.
NO TRADES PLEASE!!
