“As good as it gets” certainly applies to this iconic symbol of Corvette classicism.

This car was built with one thing in mind, nd that was reliability for the long term without sacrificing the spirit of the C3. Great attention to detail was spent during the restoration process with myself and enthusiasts advocating all steps along the way. If you want a driver that will win shows, his car is a stellar choice in that arena. It’s a perfect balance of a driver and show car without having to worry about trailer transporting.

Fit, inish, nd gapping on all panels is superb. Paint quality is show and stunning from all angles. All glass is in excellent condition. Soft top and windows are excellent, nd fit securely. Bright work and stainless has all been polished, hromed or purchased new. Even the monstrously complex hidden wiper system works as intended from the factory along with the hideaway headlights, hich all function properly via vacuum and electric (see the video below). Car sits nicely with good height and stance. Coolant system works properly and keeps the 427 cool even on hot days without the use of electric fans.

Mechanics and performance are all in top condition, always dependably enabling the car to effortlessly and smoothly go through its paces at your command. The road mannerisms will impress, he 4 speed is smooth, nd shifts into all gears with ease, o rattles creeks or pops. In my humble opinion, ’d venture to say this drives nicer than when it rolled out of the factory. Power steering elevates the ease of daily use, specially maneuvering at those tight shows. Clear California title registration is up to date.

Car was completely ground up restored at a renowned California Corvette specialist in Paso Robles by Kim Chambers (The Shop) with a no expense spared, ntentioned to keep forever. Life changes along with career changes, nd the old cliché goes, I do not give the car the attention it deserves, nd I have new interest elsewhere’ are reasons I’m letting this beauty go. Everything was rebuilt and thoroughly tested; every detail was taken care of in a proper and prompt way. I’m very meticulous, nd it has taken a few years to get every little bug worked out without shortcuts. It has paid off being a vette you can drive with complete confidence. Again, verything works as it should including the analog clock, nd the original stereo. Two independently working stereos are installed, o you can either enjoy the sounds of a modern system with hidden controls in the ashtray. Or use the factory in dash radio for more of a nostalgic sound.

390HP 427 but is in the neighborhood of 430HP, ith some mods to ignition and carburetor. Pulls very hard and strong, nd has the amazing distinct sound that only a 427 with side pipes can produce.
