Up for sale is the well known Chevy Camaro - IROC Z Edition with the famous 5.0 Liter Tune Port Injection Engine and a factory automatic transmission that included an overdrive gear.This camaro is a ONE owner car.I have not registered the car under my name since I have kept it as a collector car in my garage and drive it only around my enclosed community once in a while.
History: These cars were it back in the 1980's and part of the 1990's for lots of the teenagers going to high school or college and can afford them. I was one of those lucky teenagers that had one during my senior year. I still remember that time as if it was yesterday. It was a time that I felt I was the king of the road and still feel that way when I drive this one as well. I am not a dealer, ut a car fanatic. I will now describe this car to you as much as I could but if you need additional information or more pictures; I will be glad to send them your way with pleasure. Here I go:
Exterior: The exterior is in very nice condition consistent with the 64K miles it currently has. It comes with factory original paint except for the right front fender with had a minor fender bender in a parking lot with another vehicle.Car paint shines well and looks as new.Rear bumper has some visible spider cracks on the paint. Car has a scratch on rear passenger side panel about 8 inches long due to a garage incident. There are scratches around the wheels; which I am sure they can be restored by a professional wheel detailer that do it now mobile.Has new tires all around. NOTE:pictures taking are all under natural light with no special effects.
Drivetrain: NO modifications done to the engine, ransmission, uspension or anywhere in the car. Car has been kept all original from its previous owner and garaged kept most of its life.Has no oils leaks from the engine bay or drive train. This car performs as it did when it was born. The car starts right up with no hesitation. Has a nice cold A/C, ll gauges work as they should. Engine sounds crisp and it just drives and feels awesome. Hasnew brakes, ew belt, park plugs, uel filter, ew battery, nd a new alternator. Nothing needs to be done to it at all.Just drive it and enjoy it.
Interior:Interior is in great shape, ashboard has no cracks, eiling mesh is new and the car has been fully detailed inside and out.It came from factory with all the power options, uch as electric windows, ear trunk lid, eat, nd side mirrors (it was an additional option offered by Chevy). Comes with the factory Delco radio with the cassette player; which sounds great and in my opinion no need to change it out unless you want something more modern.
Documentation:Have some service records that previous owner gave me plus the owners manual and warranty booklets. See pictures on listing. I do not have the build sheet.
Summary and Terms:I have owned several IROC Z over the years and is always enjoyable to look at them, ear the engine sound and drive them around the block. I like to buy and collect cars for a few years and then sell them to be able to get a different one. I have tried to the best of my knowledge to accurately outline the car and make you the buyer aware of the things that I would like to know if I were the potential buyer. This is a 26 year old unrestored survivor car and is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. This is a seven day auction with a reasonable reserve for the type of car. I require $ 1000 deposit withing 48 hours of auctions end via PAYPAL. The remainder can be paid in person via certified funds or wire transfer from a major bank of the US. Once funds clear, he car will be released to the shipping company you chose. I can store the car for an additional week after is purchased with no problems.
The bottom line is that this car has a HUGE collector potential with the 3rd generation F-bodies rapidly gaining popularity through out the entire world. Its a really cool car to own for the price and enjoy for many years to come. The only reason I am selling it is because I want to get myself another toy and need the garage space.
