We will start off with the exterior of the Impala. When you walk around it you will see an arrow straight body with good fit and finish. Everything is covered in the Torch Red Paint that is fresh and slick with a good shine. They did a nice job on the jams and inside the trunk. It’s accented by a new Black canvas top. The top has a new pump motor as well as new cylinders. They also replaced the rear window and it has a black top boot to pull the look together. It has new one piece bumpers for a cleaner look. All the side stainless as well as the stainless around the tail light is new. At the time of the resto they also replaced the weather stripping. The final exterior touch is a set of 18” Chrome Wheels.
Next, e will take a look at the interior of the Convertible. Everything on the inside is done in black and flows perfectly with the exterior whether the top is up or down. It all looks like it would have in ’62 with the correct seat covers, oor panels, nd carpet that all look like new. It retains the column shift and the dash retains the factory look down to the stock AM radio.
Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s detailed and painted in the same Torch Red as the exterior. It’s powered by a stock ’66 model 327 that is dressed with a polished intake with matching polished valve covers and breather. It’s mated to the Power glide trans and the correct rear end. Also it has stock manifolds with dual exhaust. The brakes however have been upgraded to 4 Wheel Disc with drilled and slotted rotors and under the hood the master cylinder and booster is all chrome. This Impala also has power steering that is also new.
