Description

Up for bid is a 1973 Camaro Rally Sport split bumper project car. It is a real RS split bumper but NOT a Z28. Please read the decsription carefully !!!
The engine is a later 396 around 71 or 72 not sure out of a truck maybe. It has a demon carb MSD 6A ignition. Not sure about the internals. It runs strong no knocks or pings, as good oil pressure. Also had a complete 2 1/2 inch exhaust all the way out to the tail. It does however need a good tune up from sitting to get it running perfect. Car has not been on the road for more than 10 years. It has a Turbo 400 with a stock stall convertrer and a B&M ratchet shifter. It shifts between gears. No other information on it other than that. It has a Ford 9 inch rear with unknown gears. Counting revolutions of the tires and drive shaft seems around 3:55. That cannot be confirmed. The body is pretty solid except for damage to both quarter panels ( A mad woman with a hatchet beat on it.... so the story goes). It could be repaired. The doors are solid for the most part with minimal rust. The fenders are solid very small rust at bottoms. Rear frame rails good. Floors have some patchin, ut not rotted out. Has a fiber glass cowl hood, o wheel wells in the front fenders. The interior is from a more modern car with power drivers seat. The dash is all Autometer gauges carbon fiber dash insert which is very nice and not cheap. Also has a fuel cell. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A PROJECT CAR with work can be driven on the road. Restore to stock or modify it what ever you like. Has a Clean NY State Title in the current owners name.
I have described the car best I can. If you are local please come look at it first. I'm listing for a friend. Please do not ask the reserv, t is reasonable for a 2nd gen camaro like this. There is no buy it now, o trades. I will NOT answer any questions. Call James 845-222-2517
PLEASE NOTE !! IF YOU HAVE 0 OR LESS THAN 5 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU CALL FIRST !!! YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED AND YOU WILL BE BLOCKED. BUYER TO PAY ALL TRANSPORTATION COST ! A $500 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HRS OF AUCTION END. Full payment will be due within 5 days of auction end. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING !
