Ok on tomy Chevelle. Just recently out of over 30 year dry storage and available for sale for the first time in over 40 yearsis thisspecial order LS5 Super Sport Chevelle.
This Super Sportwas tucked away many years agowith a 1972 LS5 SS Chevellein a small speed shop in the North East & they were barely visible through all the years of speed parts & dustaccumulated on & around them.
She was ordered new at High Performance Chevrolet dealer Scuncio Chevrolet & built in Oshawa Ontario Canada. Ordered with LS5 454, nbsp;M22 munci 4 speed & bench seat. This car is manual steering, o power. Black on black with white stripe. Obviously the original owner had racing in mind when he ordered it.The original 454 was replaced with a period 427 back in the day, not sure when but it was a long time ago) This Chevelle is very well documented with 2 line tag/ build sheets and Canadian builddocumentation. The car has a very interesting history if you are a real buyer I will tell you what I know.
When I purchased both of these LS5 Chevelles they needed freshening up after all those years in Storage..The Car runs & drives great. The body and Chassis on the car are rust & rotfree and all original GM Sheet metal. Car still wearing a lot of it's original paint with touch ups here, here and every where, s expected on a 45 year old car. A few small bumps and bruises but if you like original unrestored cars like me they will not bother you.No Bondo or patches the car still shows well as a survivor. It also has a like new set of Bias ply tires that were put on it way back when just before storing it. The tires are in excellent shape with no dry rot and still have the manufacturer marks in yellow and the little rubber tits sticking out
The interior is original and in excellent condition with the exception of a few small holes in the headliner
If this was a Motion or Yenko car it would easily fetch 6 figures. That being said it is not a Yenko or Motion car and may not be as desirable but Scuncio is recognized as a Super Car, igh Performance dealer and Scuncio cars are very hard to find.
My Chevelle is priced accordingly. It is priced much less than a Yenko or Motion car. I think it is a great deal for the right collector/buyer
