Description

This listing is for a 1971 Monte Carlo that I have personally owned for over 20 years. The car runs great and has 10,000 miles on a rebuilt 350 engine, utomatic transmission with shift kit, nd rear end. Overall, he car is old and has some minor flaws, ut the body is straight and would be a good car for restoration. There are some small scratches and chipped paint on the exterior; the interior needs to be cleaned; the power-steering hose has a small leak; the heater and a/c do no work; there are a few rust spots on the floor panels; and the numbers do not match. Other than that, he engine and transmission were completely rebuilt in 2002, nd the rear end was replaced with a12 bolt posi rear end with 373 gears off an old 1970 Monte Carlo. The coil springs, way bars, nd suspension joints were also replaced in 2002 during the engine overhaul. In 2004, e added a Edelbrock 650 carburetor to the engine with headers and new exhaust. The car has been sitting in a hanger for the last 8 years, nd before that it was stored in a garage. I've included three videos of the car running at the bottom of this listing so that you can get a better idea of how the car runs and looks. The car you are looking at in these photos looks exactly the same as it did when I first purchased it 20+ years ago. I have not done any body work to the car, ut I think there may have been some body restoration completed by the previous owner.
