Description

Greetings! Up for your consideration is an awesome Z28 convertible for sale. It is in very good shape for being 22 yrs old. Lots of mods and love on this car. Paint is in good shape, 'd give it an 8 out of 10. I can't tell if the car has been repainted but bumpers and a few spots definitely. The vinyl graphics are faded but still give it character. No signs of any collision anywhere I look other than some stress signs on rear bumper, s if from parking bumps. No signs of rust either, ther than a couple of 1/4" holes thru the passenger side floor board it is solid. The top is in very good shape except for the rear plastic window- opaque with a small crack and seal around it is coming apart but does not leak. The power top operates smooth as it should. Power windows are a bit lazy but work. 18" tires are like new, nstalled by the previous owner mid 2014. Chrome rims are nice but starting to peel. Aftermarket ram air hood is in great shape but not functional. The LT1 engine has an aftermarket camshaft and the heads have been ported, missions have been removed but available if you want to put them back. The exhaust is pacesetter headers to full magnaflow exhaust, o cat. The 4spd auto transmission was rebuilt in 2013 and works fine, luid is clean, oes have an aftermarket pan. The rear shocks are QA1 adjustables. Brake rotors are drilled and slotted. The interior has been tastefully redone with matching door panels and blue trim.
The previous owner bought the car in 2006, oesnt have any knowledge of the specifics of the mods done to the car. He's an older gent and just wanted a cool convertible to pimp around in. He added aprox 8K in the 9 yrs he owned it. I took the car as payment for another job a few weeks ago, t's still titled in his name. I installed a new Battery, O2 sensors, ilters, ipers, il, ptispark, ireset, ater pump, hermostat, oses, alve cover gaskets, alve seals, nd intake manifold gaskets- all new not remanufactured. Car does not leak any oil or coolant. Starts up every time, as good heat and a/c. Sounds really good and overpowers the undersized tires no prob. It drives and handles well, o rattles or squeaks. It has an alarm system and comes with 2 sets of keys and remotes. If you're in the Holbrook NY area, wing on by my shop and take a look. Car is well priced, ileage is nothing as its been well taken care of.
