This 1963 Impala has just completed a frame off rotisserie restoration. The chassis along with close to 200 parts were powder coated. The front floors were replaced along with the complete trunk. The rest of the car is absolutely solid with NO rust anywhere. The body was sand blasted to the metal, locked 3 times before it was painted with a beautiful silver base coat and 3 coats of clear. It will be polished and buffed this week. It sports a set of brand new red line radials on the original 14 inch wheels. With SS hubcaps.
The interior is all custom LEATHER. Including the doors, ear seat, ront bucket seats, ear quarters and package tray. Not vinyl or almost leather but smooth, oft supple leather.
The original, umbers matching engine is a completely rebuilt 283, 10 over with new pistons, ods, ild cam, ebuilt carbeurator and completely rebuilt heads. The original 2 speed power glide transmission was also rebuilt. The car has a completely new brake system (booster, ines, ylinders, prings and pads), he fuel system is new (new fuel tank, uel sender, tainless steel line and fuel pump). The engine is cooled by a new Champion aluminum radiator and runs like a sewing machine. The car also has a newly installed power steering system (605 box). New alternator, oltage regulator, nbsp;distributor and spark plug wires.
The rear end is the stock 3.08 gear with the original driveshaft. The exhaust system is new except for the original headers which were sand blasted and heat treated. The exhaust system is stainless steel with flow master mufflers and chrome tips. The original bumpers were rechromed (triple plated) and look stunning. All the emblems are new, ll the stainless steel is either new or polished.
The original headliner was reused and does not look good with the rest of the car so a new one ordered. Car will be getting front end alignment before auction is over.
This is an original numbers matching 1963 Impala. It has SS bucket seats and hubcaps. Along with retractable front seat belts.
This car has been gone through with a fine tooth comb and a LOT more money was spent on this car than it is worth. It was suppose to be a keeper........my lose is your gain. It is reasonably priced.
In the trunk you will find newly painted fender skirts that need the locking mechanism installed. Also this car was being built with an under the dash AC unit. The compressor and condenser have been installed. The remaining components are in the trunk (AC unit, ryer, oses and fittings)
It has a clear title.
