Marty Schorr, Motion historian, as editor of Cars Magazine in this era and author of the book, otion Performance: Tales of a Muscle Car Builder, escribed the Phase III GT as a specific model which came stock with fastback rear window, arpeted stowage area, lared fenders, utside exhaust, pecific suspension, ront end with exposed headlights, nique taillight treatment, uick-fill fuel cap, hoice of small- or big-block engine, nd a host of detail components." He also said no two GT models were exactly alike.
