Time to thin the herd. Selling my 1957 Chevrolet 3100 SWB Stepside truck. It is a frame off build. Crate GM LS1 (NOT REBUILT OR SALVAGE), olley EFI intake, L60E, " Ford with 3:50 posi gears. Custom harness and computer by Howell Engineering. Dynoed @ 350 HP and runs on 87 octane fuel. Nicely detailed under the hood with a real cold air intake set up. Custom built powder coated frame with Fatman suspension. Tubular a-arms, tock spindles and stock height springs. New shocks. Power front disc brakes(drum rear), ower rack and pinion steering. 4 Link rear suspension with new coil-overs. Rides on Wheel Vintiques rally wheels with Chevy logo caps and beauty rings. The truck rides, rives and handles great.

The inside is nicely painted in black and white. Dakota instrument panel, laming river tilt column, amaro steering wheel, nmolested dash, ld Air cold A/C and hot heat. Both outside air vents work properly. New arm rests. New factory headliner. Stock rubber floor covering with mats. New inside sun visors and hardware. The late model seat and armrest is very comfortable with no sags, ut the upholstery is original and is not perfect(worry free). New rubber, elt channels and fuzzies around all glass. New door hinges and window regulators. Windows are tinted.

Gas tank under bed with filler opening in bed, railer light hook-up, ed tail lights. halogen headlights, ome light, hone charger, ew glove box. Two speed electric wipers. ALL LIGHTS, IGNALS AND GAUGES WORK including the 4-way emergency flashers.

The body is very solid, ut is as it was when removed from the barn. Minimal surface rust, ings and dents in some places, nbsp;but great patina. The shine "is not" clear coat. It is from Mothers car polish. The truck surface beads water just like a painted vehicle would. I added the outside visor and had it louvered for attitude. Wood bed with tool box. If you are real picky, he bed boards could use a fresh clear coat, ut then you would not want to put things in the bed. Spare tire rack with matching rally rim, ub cap and beauty ring.

This truck was built to be safe and dependable. It is to drive and enjoy. Not worry about. We have put 12K trouble free miles on the truck through several states since it was built. It does not need to be wiped off or polished every time it is driven. Hope you like lots of attention and thumbs up. Sure I have forgotten a few other upgrades.
