Selling my 1968 Camaro RS Convertible. This is not an original. I have owned it for 28 years and am the 3rd owner, believe. It was originally built and then freshened up about 8 years ago. This is a very nice driving car with tremendous power, ood brakes, teering and handling.This car was built with a lot of thought and intention.
Body: 86' Iroc Blue with some minor imperfections hear and there. Paint is in nice shape overall and looks great from 5 feet. Somechips and little dings here and there up close. Cowl induction hood added. Rally Sport Headlight package added. New front clip added when build.99% rust free. Small quarter sized area in rear floor board. Every place else is great.
Interior: Recaro Seats,Roll Bar added but can be removed. Very well designedby race car fabricator.
Engine: 427 cu. in., uilt to 1969 L-88 specs., 0:1 compression, rane L-88 Solid Lifter Cam Shaft, SD Ignition, EI Distributor, delbrock Tuned Carburetor, 7400 rpm redline. Built by legendary engine builder - Dale Jones. Dynoed at 495 hp and 510 lbs ft of torque. This engine runs amazing. Incredible smooth power and rev's unbelievably.
Transmission: Tremec T-56 6-speed transmission.
Rear End: 8 3/4" Chrysler Rear end out of 70 Charger. This rear end was used because it is virtually indestructible. Cone Typeposiworks really well.
Wheels/Tires:86' Staggered 16"Iroc Wheels Painted body color and polished. 225/55R/16 Yokohama tires with 3000 miles.
