The '81 Corvette was a milestone car for a couple reasons. One, t was the last year for a carburetor. And two, t was the only year that Corvette was built in both the St. Louis and the then brand new Bowling Green plants at the same time. The difference between the two cars is the St. Louis cars were painted in lacquer and the Bowling Green cars were two stage enamel. The easiest way to tell the difference (besides the V.I.N.) is most of the single color cars were St. Louis and the Two-Tone cars were Bowling Green.
This '81 is a late Bowling Green car and it's about as nice an example as you'll ever see! With only 1,522 original miles, t's hardly even broken in! The car looks like it just came off the assembly line and is completely stock with the exception of an upgraded radio. Options include Power Door Locks, ruise Control, lass Roof Panels, wo-Tone Paint, luminum Wheels, hite Letter Tires, ower Antenna and more! Documented with the Owner's Kit and original Dealer Shipping Invoice.
