My Dad bought this car because the 2-door coupe "no post" hardtop is a more desirable body style than the 210. He'd hoped to take parts off of the 210 to complete the one shown here. That never happened.
So here's the story with the title. I have in my name a clear Pennsylvania title for a car that has a 1957 VIN (shown in this auction). The title appears to have a typo that lists this as a 1956 Chevy which it clearly is not. I think sometimes the year in which the car was titled originally is confused with the year of the car.
There's a picture of a firewall tag, ut I don't know enough to know if that's supposed to have the VIN on it. I don't see how the numbers on the tag correspond to the VIN number on the paperwork, ut I'm certainly no expert. Maybe this tag has nothing to do with the car's VIN.
So this car comes with a valid clear Pennsylvania title for a 1957 Chevy, ut which might still have some issues.
Included with this coupe are the parts inside the car, hich include at least a part of a bumper, he windshield visor, nd whatever else you see in the pictures. The detached hood is included with this sale. The passenger side door is attached, nd even opens as you can see in the pictures.
Missing are at least: motor, ransmission, ront and rear bumpers, indshield, nd driver's side door and door glass.
