This car was originally sold to the Tripoli, owa Fire Department prior to being sold to its second owner in 1992. The vehicle was then purchased by my family in 1996, aking us only the third owner of this classic truck. The Apache has undergone a minor frame-on restoration with the intent of keeping the truck as original as possible. The restoration included replacement of the old wood with a beautiful new stained oak bed in addition to new wheels and tires accurate for the period.
The truck interior is all original and has been detailed meticulously for its lucky new owner. The 3 speed manual trans shifts smoothly and the 235 ci Inline 6 runs strong without issue. The chrome has also been restored where necessary and shines like new. Overall, his is an excellent example that can either be shown or driven and enjoyed.
