Located in Las Vegas. NV This truck is awesome! I bought it in a no running condition and I have put a lot of money into this to get it where it is today. This is not just a 55 cab set onto a newer chassis. This is the original chassis. The rear axle is a "dually" with four rear wheels and tires. The spring stack is large so it can carry a heavy car/truck if needed. Rear wheel drive. We just installed brand new engine temp. oil pressure and battery amp gauges. It has a fresh rebuilt 350 motor. fresh rebuilt carb. brand new battery. all the wiring gone through and cleaned up. new paint job and some body work. the front bumper is new. the front grill is new. new door handles. new glove box. new ignition and keys. installed mirrors on the doors. all the glass is good with no cracks. windows roll up and down. she does not get hot when driving. no leaks. Tilt steering wheel. Power drum brakes front and rear and stops great. It has a good clutch and 4 speed trans. it also has a 2 speed hi/low gear box that allows you to run all 4 gears in hi or all four gears in low. This truck does 75mph easy down the freeway and will go faster. The bed has hours of welding into it to make sure it is secure. we welded gussets. tabs and hooks to the bed so you can secure down a load. We welded expanded metal to the ramps so the car/truck your hauling can be loaded in any type of weather and the tires will not slip on the ramps. One side of the bed has a big box with a door for storage of straps and tools. It comes with a spare tire and wheel too. It has a place for a ball in the rear if you want to pull a trailer. The winch works great and has a switch outside of the bed for the operator to control the cable that allows the car up or down when loading. The tires are in excellent shape and have 80-90% tread left on them. All the headlights and tail lights work. brake lights work and we installed some new running lights on the bed and they all work. You can jump in it and drive it where ever you need to. We went through all the fluids. changed the oil and serviced the rear diff and trans. The bed dimensions are 82" wide and 14ft 3" long. What it needs. I would install a carpet kit and maybe have the seat re upholstered. It has the original 55 gauges in it now and none of them work since the truck has been converted over to the new 12 volt system.
