Overview: Cool old truck I used for moving furniture to our place in the mountains. Driven from San Diego to Big Bear (400 miles round trips) over several months. Truck is geared nicely for road use. averaged about 14-15mpg to/from mountains. Move or stores a ton of furniture. or whatever suits you. Has heavy duty 2” receiver with trailer electrical connections. Mechanical: Very sound. Runs and drives excellent. Feels like a much newer suburban. Converted with 1990’s ¾ ton heavy duty suspension. Disc brakes stop strong. 14 bolt ‘corporate GM rear’. heavy duty 8 lug axles. and heavy duty steel wheels with 10 ply radials. The trans was rebuilt about 12k miles ago. The motor runs strong and smooth. Drive it home anywhere. Paint/Body/Frame: True ‘barn find’ patina. Only area of rust repair is above passenger door frame/drip-rail. Must have been attributed to the way it in the driveway over time and where moisture collected. Otherwise truck body is very solid. both of rear quarters are straight and solid. Door thresholds are clean. Interior: Very serviceable. Original black interior with exception of front tan split bench. Deluxe door black door panels are in good shape. Dash in good shape. radio area has never been cut. Original second row seat folds down flat. With back seats down. ten foot deep. Truck swallows an eight foot couch. a 6 foot love seat. and smaller pieces of furniture at the same time. Rear floor has padding and carpet over presumed original wood floor.
